Website Name Rule

If something has your phone number on it, then it should have your website address on it too.

If you are in business, think about all of the different places that your phone number is listed. Before the internet, that used to be the "way to go" when you were advertising your business, put the name, address and phone number on it. This included your vehicle, business cards, flyers, brochures, letterhead, uniforms, phone book, etc.

The new rule is still valid, but you should also have your website address in there too.

Take radio commercials for example, unless your phone number is 1-800-My-Money, then chances are, people are not going to remember it, but chances are, your website name will be rembembered. If your phone number is listed on your website (which it should be) then potential clients don't have to remember your phone number.
